Paramedics should be added as well, since all three are out on the roads contantly.

My brother was killed by a drunk driver, he was in the Navy...officers and firemen are no better and no worse than my brother was. Drunk drivers should be punished equally as harsh regardless of who they hit.

SUMMARY
This bill would make intoxicationassault a second degree felony and intoxicated manslaughter a first degree felony if a police officer or firefighter is involved.
BACKGROUND
a similar bill was passed in the House but failed to pass in the Senate lastsession.
