OK, but let's really teach sex ed, not abstinence only.

I'm in favor of this if the parental consent includes notification to parents of the abstinence only nature of Texas sex ed classes, so they will know what their children are NOT being taught, which is family planning and effective methods of birth control and disease prevention. Parents who know their kids are taking sex ed classes may not know the schools are not teaching these important aspects of sex ed.
