Summary
The bill prohibits the use of the Texas Enterprise Fund to hire undocumented workers. The fund is adminstered by the Governor's office to attract business to Texas.Rep. Anchia passed a similar measure as an amendment to HB 3- Margins Tax during the 79(3) special session. The amendment prohibited businesses from writing off the payroll expenses of hiring undocumented workers from their margins tax liabilty.
