Rep. Delisi's bill allows law enforcement to arrest an individual if that person fails to identify his/ her name and address upon request.

Opponents of the bill are concerned that the statute would allow police to harass and racially profile otherwise innocent individuals.

On third reading of the bill in the House, a group of African American and Hispanic legislators, including Reps. Dutton, Borris, Thompson, Alonzo and Dukes, rallied the House to defeat the bill 116-23.
