This bill implements one part of the recommendations of the House Committee on Urban Affairs interim report. This recommendation was intended to reduce the impact of NIMBYism in the LIHTC allocation process. The Interim Report also recommended removing the evaluation of neighborhood support in the scoring process for the same reason.
